UIF eligibility if let go as part of "early retirement / severance package" -

Okay, I seem to now be able to answer my own question…

In the below-linked “.gov.za”, “KNOW YOUR UIF RIGHTS 2022.pdf” document, on page 5, section 3, it clearly says the following:- “In case of voluntary severance package or early retirement, a UI 2.11 form is required”.

IE. so at least in this instance, it seems to clearly indicate that it is possible to receive UIF compensation, while on early retirement!

Apologies, I messed up the above document-link by putting a semicolon (;) instead of an apostrophe (“) at the end.

Okay, it happened again, so it must be the chat system editing / changing the IP link which I am trying to submit / post.

So instead, if you do need access to the above-mentioned reference document, I suggest just doing an online search for:- “KNOW YOUR UIF RIGHTS 2022.pdf”
