PROMOTION AT WORK

Hi there

Generally an employer will require a person to have the necessary skills, qualification and experience to be promoted into a new post. Lets say you are in admin in a company and they want you now to move into the IT Department, presumably they will up skill you before giving you the promotion so that you can do the job adequately.
